“The untamed frontier of the galactic rim is a dangerous region of space, far beyond the safety of the core worlds. It is a place where crime pays and the strong prosper—where lucrative opportunities await the brave and unscrupulous, as long as they don’t ask too many questions.
From pirates and scavengers to local militias and treacherous clients, those trafficking high-demand commodities must carefully navigate a range of threats and hazards. Narcotics, arms, and machinery all fetch a premium price from the right buyer, just as many colonists urgently seek medical supplies—and then there are the fugitives, those seeking to escape the oppressive regime of the core worlds.
You are a ragtag crew of outlaws, smuggling goods between planets on the outer rim. There is always high demand and a tidy profit for your services, as long as you’re willing to take certain risks.”
Inspired by science fiction movies about scoundrels and renegades, Interstellar Smugglers is a standalone scenario for the Tricube Tales system and is usable as a micro-setting, but it is also a fully self-contained one-page RPG in its own right. You can print it on a single sheet of paper: The first page includes everything you need to play, while an optional second page expands the adventure generator with examples and twists. The PDF uses layers for ease of printing.
