Into Darken Wood

A short side-adventure for 6th level adventurers.

The town of Haven has always been a peaceful place, nestled among rolling hills and lush forests of Abanasinia. But lately, a dark cloud has settled over the city. Strange noises and ghostly apparitions have been coming from the nearby Darken Wood, frightening the villagers and making it unsafe to venture out at night.

The Council of Highseekers, the de facto rulers of Haven, have offered a handsome reward to any brave adventurers who are willing to enter the haunted forest, seek out the reason for Darken Wood’s reach beyond the forest edge, and put an end to the ghostly disturbances.
