Into Kryptgarden Forest is the second chapter in the thrilling 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons Heroes of Faerun: Shadowborne campaign. I've listened to the feedback from the previous solo adventure, and fine-tuned my product to match what players were looking for and expecting.
This adventure takes 1-4 hours to play, and is designed to take a 3rd-level character all the way to 4th-level. While this adventure is designed for solo play, it can be easily tailored to work with any gaming group.
Into Kryptgarden Forest reads like a “choose your own adventure”, where choices are presented to the player, and the player chooses a response from among those choices to progress through the story.
The adventure is written with a gripping and dramatic narrative, and continues from where the last adventure left off. Players that have already progressed through the first adventure, Dark Sorceries, will have a slight advantage over other players, as they will have already acquired some magic items, and will have also created allies using the Attitude Score system.
You will need the 5E Basic Rules (PHB and DMG recommended) in order to play, a printer or a virtual tabletop for displaying the hand-drawn maps, and tokens or minis to help keep track of the tactical combat encounters.
