"Inventing destinies - RPGs for education" is an essay about the use of RPGs in schools, libraries, prisons and other settings where playing has educational purposes. The book collects a dozen of years of experiences all over Italy. Besides, it gives some materials of pratical use as the "Qui comincia l'avventura" RPG with settings and adventures about Robin Hood, Excalibur and the "I promessi sposi" novels, with rules based on "Mediterraneo" and "Orlando Furioso" and adventures developed with primary school kids; live rules and direction advices for "On Stage!"; "Solaria", a Renaissance-set RPG made by a High School classroom from Viareggio (Tuscany).
