As reported by Rudolph Van Richten in his Guide to Ravenloft, one of the means of saving the Domain of Darkon from destruction is collecting the pieces of Azalin’s shattered crown! One of them was retrieved by Ebbasheyth, Azalin’s black shadow dragon advisor. The monster wants the other pieces for itself in order to become the new Darklord, and therefore it hid the one already in its possession in horrific caves, filled with cruel and powerful draconian servants obtained corrupting the eggs of slain metallic dragons! Brave heroes are needed to seize the crown fragment from the clawed hands of the monsters...
