Publisher's blurb:
'It Takes a Village' is a quick-adventure for a party of four 8th level characters. Very little adaptation should be necessary to use in any campaign setting.
Adventure Background
A small village in a rural area provides a party of traveling adventurers a site of respite. Everything appears completely normal. The public house provides the party with a room for the night, and a wonderful meal. Everything seems idyllic and safe. After a dangerous set of adventures the party will be very pleased with the chance for some rest.
Unfortunately now the party has placed themselves in the middle of what will be a very dangerous evening. Thirty years ago another adventurer came to this village and settled down. His death left his home open, and his son settled within. What no one knows is that the former adventurer had a strange artifact called the 'Necromancer's Tablet'.
After awakening during the assault the party must fight their way out of the public, and can choose to help save others while eventually finding the necromancer, defeating them, and saving what remains of the village.
The name, and culture of the village is specifically left vague in order to allow GM's to design their own or adapt it to existing settings.
