ito Rainbow is a cooperative game where you and your friends will each get a secret number that you have to try and play in order as a group based on the clues you give related to the chosen theme.
At the start of the game, each player gets a secret number card that can have a value between 1 and 100. Remember, it’s a SECRET, so of course the other players can’t tell you directly what number they have, and neither can you!
ito Rainbow has different components and different rules from the original ito.
Instead of being able to discuss your secret number in between playing them, all players must line up their cards in order, lock in your answers, and reveal them one at a time. There are no lives or rounds. It is based on a pass/fail system. Either all cards are in the correct order and you win or one (or more) cards are wrong and you lose.
There is also a team mode where you will compete against another team trying to get more cards correct than them.
ito Rainbow comes with colorful gems and a timer to help assist with these new game modes. The deck still consists of cards numbered 1-100, but the card size is smaller than original ito. There are also different category cards.
