Play
White moves first. Turns then alternate.
On a turn do two things.
1. Move your pawn in a straight line across any number of empty squares (orthogonally or diagonally). Pawns cannot move through other pawns. When moving orthogonally pawns cannot move through javelins. When moving diagonally pawns cannot move through 2 or more javelins whose ends meet at the same corner of a square.
2. The moved pawn throws a javelin orthogonally in a straight line across any number of empty squares and empty edges of squares. Javelins cannot be thrown through other javelins or pawns. If thrown vertically a javelin is placed horizontally along an empty edge of a square. If thrown horizontally a javelin is placed vertically along an empty edge of a square. No javelins are to be placed along the outer edge of the board.
Last player to move wins.
