Jumping Jacks is a trick-taking game for 4 or 5 players in which the Jacks are all-important. The object is to have the most points after eight hands.
Jumping Jacks is played with a stripped deck of 20 cards, 10-A in four suits. Play is standard trick-taking must-follow with no trump suit.
Only the Jacks are worth points and must be avoided or sought after depending on the phase of the game. The game has two phases. The Jacks are worth negative points in the first four hands. They are worth positive points in the last four hands.
The winner is the player with the most points after 8 hands.
