After dealing out all cards to each player equally, Players will play one card each round, starting with the first player, and rotating to the right. Cards are played by alternating face-up and face-down: the first card each round is played face down, the next card is played face up, and the third card is played face down, and so on, until each player has played one card. Starting again with the first player, everyone will take one card of their choice, choosing either a face-up card, or pressing their luck by choosing a face-down card.
The cards represent different fruits, with varying number values. Players are trying to get the highest values into their stack. There are also three special cards:
Super-fruit: this card will double the value of a single fruit card,
Caterpillar: the hungry caterpillar will reduce the value of one or more cards by half,
Pistachio: the delicious nut will lure a caterpillar away, canceling out one caterpillar card.
After all cards are exhausted, scoring begins. Highest score wins.
