漢獣 (Kanju) is a language-based game whereby, from the kanji radicals, you try to guess the four-character idiom cards in your opponents' hands. The game starts by selecting two of the five idiom cards you're dealt. Therefore, the game is very language-dependent and you need a reasonable knowledge of Japanese to play it.
