The default setting involves an alternative near future of our own world, where a past relying on steam-power has evolved to advanced plasma technology. This society has been torn asunder by conflict and greed, yet your ship stands as a beacon to building a better future through cooperation and ingenuity. In this world, traditional sovereign governments have been replaced by large continental coalitions, akin to vast corporate empires.
This game, however, is designed to be implemented within any setting of your choice in order to build a world that suits you, where a group of traveling specialists can overcome the obstacles they face.
