Kill the Beast!
A bit of lore: Mr. Bernard was attacked by a werewolf on his way back home. He became cursed with lycanthropy and he attacks his former home when he turns into a beast. People in Lutton Thorp miss him. But they have no way to link the attacks with the missing merchant.
The heroes arrive after the second attack to the thorp. The villagers are scared and offer what they can to get their help. The adventurers might take a different approach when they learn the truth, if they care to look for it.
