This, together with Orange Death, are two promo characters generated as a result of a BoardGameGeek contest, where users submitted many monster ideas. The top candidates advanced to a monster battle tournament, where they duked it out to become the final published character.
However, even though Crabomination emerged victorious, the final battle was so fierce, we decided to publish his foe, Orange Death, as well!
