Larry, Arthur, and Gus don't strike much terror on their own due to their small stature. Tired of not striking as much fear as their other monster counterparts this trio of terror realized that by working together they could reach their dreams of becoming king. Their name comes from the combination of the first letters in their name, and when put together (despite being a little on the nose) shows how their unity makes them large and in charge.
