The multiverse is full of powerful creatures, often possessing bizarre, terrifying powers. Some of these beings are willing to share them in exchange for various favors. If the heroes manage to find out about them from the mouths of cultists encountered or banned books obtained during expeditions, they may try to reach for unattainable power.
