Description

This game was designed by the same author as Milles Bornes (1954), Edmond Dujardin. It was meant to make people more familiar with the driving code. The game won a prize: the 'Medaille d'argent au concours Lepine Paris 1949'.

The game was an ever-present on the French market under the same name since then, undergoing several editional faceliftings design-wise. The 1949 edition contained 6 small cars in lead, each car for a player. The goal of the game is to take your car to a wedding, to pick up family members and get a present on the way to the wedding. But first U have to get your driving license. This is done by moving on the track on the board and learning/respecting the road code (speed limit, unique direction). Several things can happen on the board: an accident, blown tire,... There also is a garage, a gangster, a dépanneur (troubleshooter) and a gangster that can be met on the board. Vintage game for collectors.
