La Strada

Description

The Street has players laying cards in a row (the street) and then columns to construct Buildings that are scored. The cards are numbered (ruins), or are houses, towers, tornadoes, coloured jokers, and multi-coloured intersection cards. All cards have rainbow backs. Laying a numbered card on the Street starts a building, which extends down a column in numerical sequence and is completed as a ruin or house or tower. Laying an intersection starts a rainbow, which is filled in colour sequence. When structures are completed, they are removed to be scored, and the space in the Street is filled with a new construction. Scoring involves the value of cards and bonuses.
Rules are in German, English, Italian, and French, but are badly organized and baffling. You'll have to play this out first before it will make sense.
