Lands of Plenty is set in an environment broadly resembling Mediaeval Europe. On a vast continent that once bristled with kingdoms, dukedoms and principalities, but which has since fallen into a state of anarchy and near constant war, a group of powerful clans vie for dominance. There’s no magic in the Lands; however, people well versed in pharmacology and the properties of certain plants and roots might appear to the uneducated to have access to it. Religion is present in the form of animism, spiritual cults, and the lingering remains of now largely discredited polytheistic priestly sects.
