Lap of the Gods

Game ID: GID0186444
Collection Status
Description

Lap of the Gods is a set of rules for fighting ancient and medieval battles using tabletop miniatures. They can be used with any scale of figures, and with any basing method, provided that the figures are grouped into units of equal frontage.

A typical game has around 15 units on each side and should take under 3 hours to play. The aim of the rules has been to limit the detail and focus on the choices available to the players to make the game challenging. Both players are involved at all times, avoiding the “my turn, your turn” philosophy of other rules.

Games are designed to be played on an area of 180cm by 120cm, but smaller or larger tables or boards can be used. If using 15mm figures a typical unit will be 8cm wide.
