Larry and the Gnomes is a side-scrolling beat 'em up/brawler game. The kingdom of Karryon is threatened by angry gnomes and the king sends Larry is sent to discover what is behind their rebellion. Controls are via keyboard (reassignable), arrow keys to move, space to jump, and five action keys for attack, ranged attack, throw weapon, pickup and rage where Larry releases built-up anger in an energy wave. This accumulates from killing minions. Each levels progresses until a boss is reached.
