Play aids include Player-aid card with CRT and other charts and tables; Eliminated Units card, Order of Arrival card, 336 2-sided counters, and a Battle/Scenario booklet.

Cedar Mountain's Battle Book includes two Scenarios; August 9th, the historic set-up of the battle; and An Earlier Start; A set-up earlier in than day than the historic battle, making the battle a meeting engagement and giving player more turns of play.
