You find yourself in the cavern of the LAVA WURM, seeking glory and treasure. You must race against rival seekers, the WURM itself, and the inexorable creep of the lava if you wish to emerge with success in your grasp.
LAVA WURM is a light strategy game featuring quick turns, no randomness, and much incineration.
Players take turns placing pillars onto the hex-map to create bridges through the lava. Each turn a player must move to a new location, as the pillar they begin on is always removed at the end of their turn. The WURM itself also moves each turn, directed by the current player, and ever creeps towards the vulnerable intruders.
To win, a player must find a way to reach the WURM's tail without being eaten by its head. Using a combination of moving, blocking, and evading the WURM's reach, out-wile and menace all competition to claim glorious victory!
