Lawyer's Edition Technicality Cards may be used as a subsidiary card set for play with any six category trivia game board, including the Master Game board of Trivial Pursuit. It may also be played alone, without a game board of any type.
If the game is used as a subsidiary card set of another six category trivia game, the rules of the primary game shall apply , with the colors used to identity the categories of this subsidiary card set precisely corresponding to the colors on the primary game board.
If the game is played without the game board of a primary game, the object of play shall be to accumulate exactly 500 points. A roll of a die (not included) shall determine the category from which a Query is asked. A correct Response shall result in another turn for that player; an incorrect Response in the turn passing to the player to the left.
Points shall be awarded in accordance with the type of Query: 15 points for a Short Answer; 10 points for a Multiple Choice; and 5 points for a True/False. Exactly 500 points and no more shall be required to win. Consequently, strategy and the luck of the draw in answering a combination of Query types shall be important.
