The Dark Ages: The once mighty Empire of Bosparan and the venerable Diamond Sultanate are in steady decline. Decadence and decay have spread, ancient knowledge is lost and on the edge of civilization barbaric peoples beset the old empires. In the cities, the mighty spin their webs in their palaces leaving their subjects to their fate. It is a dark and gloomy time, where there is little hope. And yet it is also a time where heroes are born that become legends of this era.
In "The Hidden Spark" the heroes must go on a quest for an heir to a particular lineage. In "Inspectores", they will witness the construction of the largest aqueduct of Aventuria and must supervise the construction work. "Dark alleys, Floating roads" leads to the heroes to Cuslicum where they need to investigate a sinister cult before the background of a throne conflict. In "The Heritage of Aslaban" they decide who should succeed the mighty Koptha. In "Vitis Shinxiris" the adventurers must assist a soldier who must bring a marshal's baton into safety. "On the ancestral paths" ultimately leads the heroes to Bosparan of the Dark Ages. While they are at the service of a patrician, many centuries later another party of heroes must deal with the events and legacies of the past.
