From the introduction:

In the late 1800’s, iconic bush poet Banjo Paterson was working as a lawyer when someone asked him to send a letter to a man named Thomas Gerald Clancy, asking for a payment that had not been received. Paterson sent the letter to "The Overflow", a sheep station in central New South Wales, Australia, and received the very blunt reply that read:

Clancy's gone to Queensland droving and we don't know where he are
