The players are supposed to spoon out of the plate as quickly as possible all the vegetable pieces that can be seen on the card that has just been turned over. But it's not as easy as it sounds, because the spoons have joints and bend exactly when you don't need them, making you lose the carrot you just picked up very quickly. For smaller children who want to play along, you can also push the spoon together and thus make the handle immovable.
