Description

User summary:

Characters in this game all are sages in search of the same rare, powerful tome - the unobtainable book. Characters have Attributes with numeric values distributed from a points pool.

The most intriguing aspect of the game is the use of thrown sticks during opposed action resolution. Characters select a number of sticks (about like a typical pencil) based on an appropriate Attribute. Both opponents then cast their sticks into a common pile and the resulting shape (configuration) of the pile is analyzed to determine the outcome.

For example, the game logo image shows sticks thrown into a closed triangular shape, which would count successfully "as steps toward obtaining the" book.
