From publisher blurb:

Feed the Beast!
Welcome to Living Nightmares, a book of unique and terrifying monsters for the ELEMENTAL RPG.

It’s only a little book at the moment, but with your help it may grow bigger. You see, every time Living Nightmares earns a new bestseller medal on DriveThruRPG, we add more monsters to it, and the price goes up accordingly. The more people buy it, the bigger it becomes! But here’s the fun part: Once you own Living Nightmares you have access to all of it, including any monsters that get added in the future.

Buy Living Nightmares now while it’s still a hatchling, and help it grow into a terrifying beast!

If you buy the book now, you only pay the current price of $0.99 and get the four monsters currently included. If more monsters get added in the future, simply download the updated version of the book at no extra charge. We’ll send you an email to let you know when a new version is available (make sure you allow Gildor Games to send you email via DriveThruRPG), or you can check back here periodically.

Okay, but what about the monsters?

Well, they’re truly terrifying. Be advised, there’s a bit more unpleasantness than you’re probably used to seeing in your standard monster manual. In fact, while these monsters are drawn from our dark fantasy world of Gildor, many of them would also be suitable for a straight-up horror game. Also, these monsters are more than just challenges to throw at your players, they’re awesome adventure seeds in and of themselves. The book is packed with flavorful descriptions that will inspire and guide you on how you can use the monsters in your game. Many of them could easily be the focus of an entire adventure or campaign.

This embryonic release contains four monsters:

Atlachnean Spider: These giant arachnids will paralyze you before dragging you back to their cave. Once there you’d better hope they eat you, because the alternative is far worse…

Bone Blight: The weary soldiers thought the battle won and feasted their victory long into the night. But out on the battlefield, something moved. And then the unburied dead merged and rose again as a putrescent wall of bone, steel and flesh.

Graziella: Her husband punished her infidelity by removing her eyes, so now she steals the eyes of others. Beware, especially if your eyes are blue or green, for she may come in the appealing guise of her youth, rather than the dreadful horror she’s become.

The Plague Dragon: The townspeople kicked and beat the pox-ridden beggar when he portended doom in five days. But then the birds fell from the sky, the livestock filled with maggots, and the shadow of the Plague Dragon swept across the land. They should have listened to the beggar.
