Since the accidental death of the great detective of Baker Street, all of Londinium has feared the ascendance of his wererat arch-enemy, the Napoleon of Crime, the Professor. However, in his ultimate hour of triumph, the Professor has found life empty and without meaning. He will never be able to defeat the Detective, he will never be able to prove that his is the superior mind. And so the Professor has become more and more obsessed with the idea that the Detective faked his own death. The Professor thus plans ever more reckless and dangerous schemes, hoping to force the Detective out of hiding.
