Inspired by Knizia's best selling board game about Tolkien's opus, this condensed cooperative dicefest takes you and your band of hobbits in a quest to bring the Ring to Mount Doom.
In the game, players must help each other avoid and fight the dangers lurking in Middle Earth. Along the way, the players will pick up resources and gifts which they will record on their hobbit boards using 6-sided dice as counters. On a typical turn, a player will roll the event die to determine how a scenario advances --- will he pick up a resource or must he deal with a misfortune that would bring the Fellowship closer to Sauron's corrupting influence?
