User Summary
Lost in Shadow is a platforming adventure for the Nintendo Wii. The game places the player in control of a boy’s shadow at the base of a tall tower. As the shadow, the player must make their way up the tower, contending with monsters and blockades on each floor. To make the task more difficult, as a shadow they cannot travel in total light nor total darkness, nor can they interact with many objects including light sources. A faerie tags along to help the player; She can alter the foreground light sources, effectively changing the platforms for the player.
At its heart Lost in Shadow is a 2D platformer on a 3D system. Many classic platform elements are present: keys to exit gates, switches, collectable items, puzzles, and baddies.
