The vessel carrying the royalty sank when facing a sudden storm. Its members were on such a sea voyage with diplomatic intentions, going to visit a kingdom of interest with a proposal for a commercial and military union. The information that reached the coast was that the tragedy occurred near a small uncivilized island that is in the route. The nobility's assumption is that they may be alive and sheltered on such an island, and that they must be rescued. An expedition funded by the kingdom was organized in order to rescue them, or at least find out what happened to the bearers of the crown.
