Each creature in this zine is inspired by an entry in one of the classic books of monsters from the history of this hobby. In this case, largely the 1977 Monster Manual (AD&D 1e) by Gary Gygax.
Their stat block is a short poem, in the tradition of English-language haiku, covering their vital statistics, their capacity for violence, and their mien. Thereafter are two to three short paragraphs of further ecology, habitat, and society.
Content Warning: Horror (including body horror, animal horror, parasitism, child stealing, surgical horror, mind control and thought reading).
