LUKBOC mimics the hunting routines of Ospreys in which two or more players are competing for fish in exchange for scoring sticks. Each player has 6 rectangular pieces called the BIRDs. When a BIRD stands up on its square base vertically, it becomes an OSPREY. The middle of the Qu-MAT is the POND where fish tokens are placed. The 4 corner spots of Qu-MAT are called CLOUDs. BIRDs or OSPREYs flying into a CLOUD spot will be immune from any attacks. There are 4 exterior corner areas called the NESTs. A BIRD or OSPREY who was hit by an enemy BIRD will be placed there.
