The play screen is divided into three areas - the largest one shows the golfer on the fairway from a view behind and slightly to the right. The right side of the screen shows a fairway map for the current hole on the course. The bottom edge of the screen shows all of the data and controls.
Controls allow the ball to be positioned, the golfer's stance to be modified, and, of course, the swing angle and strength.
The basic game provides seven courses.
A review published in Apple 2000, Volume 6(6), December 1991, noted difficulties with graphics rendering and performance but was generally positive about the player controls and overall experience.
