MAD DOGS & ENGLISHMEN is a simple-to-learn roleplaying game where players take on the roles of plucky foot soldiers, pompous aristocrats and stiff-upper lipped officers of the British Army at the height of the British Empire in the 19th Century. Created in the vein of movies like Zulu, Zulu Dawn, The Man Who Would Be King and The Four Feathers, as well as novels such as the Flashman series by George McDonald Fraser, the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwall and the Simon Fonthill series by John Wilcox. It is stiff-upper lipped Boy’s Own adventures at its best. Pass the beer and pretzels!
