In Mad Escape! you and your friends play crazy people who have just escaped the asylum. These crazy people all have very serious delusions about the world and themselves. So one person might believe himself to be a giant hairy monster from another dimension in search of true love, another might believe himself a floating hyper empathic eyeball and so on. One thing these people do have in common though, is that each of them believe they have some duty or obligation to fulfill - they are each of them on a quest. This quest, of course, has very little to do with anything any sane person would understand and indeed few or no similarities exists from each persons quest to the next.
