This original boardgame from Mindwork Games takes place in the dystopian city of Madrid, where ancient rivalries crash into the modern era.
The plague of the undead Antorchas unleashed by the infamous lord of the Undead Don Garcia, brought the city to its knees, but it’s not over yet… the spirit of the people has demanded the return of the famous Commander El Cid Campeador and his Revenant Champions to carry on the RECONQUISTA of Madrid!
Madread: The Boardgame has a cooperative soul but this statement can quickly change when players start to accumulate FAME and equipment… even from stealing each other's loot and kills.
In the end only one Revenant is going to be the El Cid Campeador Champion’s.
