Description

In Mamutensão, you lead a team of scientists tasked with looking after the mammoths created by genetic engineering. Make efficient use of the resources available to ensure the healthy growth of the mammoths, cure them of possible illnesses, rescue them if they escape from the laboratory and face other challenges.

The goal of the scientific teams is to transport the adult mammoths to Siberia, where they will repopulate the tundras and prevent the catastrophic melting of the permafrost. However, beware: the Mammoth Reaper is on the prowl, ready to take the mammoths to the realm of the phantom pachyderms!

During the game you can carry out some “plans” to delay the other teams and thus make your team earn more points. At the end of the game, the team with the most points for mammoth care, transportation and successful plans will be the winners and we'll meet the new DCM: Chief Scientific Officer!

—description from the publisher

Each turn, the active player can roll 3 green action dice or keep the previous result, but must roll a red event and/or action die. The result of the red die can trigger certain events, such as the death or escape of a mammoth. If it doesn't, it acts as a green die.
Then, from their hand cards, the player chooses one to put down on one of the growing mammoths, representing care for it. The downed cards also bring special actions.
In addition, the player can use the value of the green dice to make the mammoths grow, send the grown mammoths to the tundra or trigger extra actions on the cards.
When a mammoth is sent to the tundra, after it is fully grown, it will bring points to all the players who controlled its care.
