The game has a round plastic board with small plastic martians set into holes in the board. With batteries, the martians will move up and down in their spaces. Each player has a small rubber mallet and must try to strike the martians with the mallet. A perfect strike will "stick" the martian to the mallet and the player may remove it from the board. The player with the most martians at the end of the game wins.
