Description

“…come back…”

The whispers wake you at all hours of the night, breaking through your dreams and dragging you out of bed only to find no one else in the room. But you are certain a voice is calling to you.

Finally, as dawn spreads over your window, you follow the whispers to your library. To one particular shelf that has lain too long forgotten. It’s time to return to the Mansions of Madness.

I am thrilled to welcome new players and old fans alike back to the world of Mansions of Madness: Second Edition with a brand-new scenario! For those unaware, I am Grace Holdinghaus, a senior designer and resident expert on hybrid app games here at FFG. I was hired over 10 years ago to work on a fancy new edition of the Mansions of Madness game line, and then Journeys in Middle-earth and…well history is cyclical and I am back at the beginning, feeling like a world-traveler stepping onto my home soil after years away.

Turn of a Page is a new, wholly digital scenario that requires only the base game of Mansions of Madness: Second Edition to play, but it is also a narrative tie-in with the new The Drowned City campaign for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. In that campaign, a group of investigators returned from an expedition to R’lyeh carrying powerful new artifacts. Now it is up to your investigators to uncover more of the story, claiming those artifacts to defend Arkham against the rising doom. Whether you choose to play as both groups of investigators, or simply join us for Turn of a Page, surely, Arkham will never again be the same.
