There are six key colours, Blue. Yellow,Purple,Green, Red, Orange. These colours are repeated on the flags crossing the playing board, the six ship tokens and the six sets of questions and answer cards, There is also a category under the Jolly Roger flag. These are held by the Jolly Roger, a volunteer crew member who must be present at every game, The JOLLY ROGER issues each player a ship token and the matching set of question cards which they will be reading aloud. The Jolly Roger keeps the Black and White Jolly Roger questions for himself and any spare boxes left over as follows:
6 Players 1 box each
5 Players 1 box each +1 spare to Jolly Roger
4 Players 1 box each +2 spare to Jolly Roger
3 Players 2 boxes each
2 Players 3 boxes each
All Boxes of cards must stay on the table at all times during play and the cards remain inside the boxes except when one is selected.
The Jolly Roger will read the questions from any category he holds plus te Jolly Roger questions.
There are 200 questions per category and one hundred Jolly Roger questions.
