Match and Turn

Game ID: GID0204141
Collection Status
Description

There are 30 double sized large playing cards with four designs and four colours. One side of each card has a different design and colour to the design and colour on the other side.

5 cards are dealt in front of each player, without disclosing what is on the reverse side of the card. The rest of the cards form a draw deck. The top card from the draw deck is turned over and placed at the side of the draw deck. The first player must match either the colour or the design shown on this revealed card. The player turns his matching card over and places on top of the revealed card. A player who can not go draws a new card from the draw deck, taking care not reveal what is on its' other side. The next player must do the same, and the winner is the first player to get rid of all their cards.

Whilst mainly luck, there is often a choice of which card to play, and therefore some element of skill. It is a quick and simple game which can be played many times with players of all ages.

The cards, which are bright and colourful, are placed in front of the player so there is no problem for little ones handling the cards, and there is no scope for cheating.
