Mausoleum of the Black Death

Publisher's blurb:

After the dam broke, the lower forest and plains become flooded, slowly turning into swampy marshes, filled with ravenous creatures. Many fled, abandoning homes and ancient places of worship. This mausoleum was one such place.

Four statues stand upon large stone pedestals watching over the entrance to the crypts, as well as the remaining coffins of heroes that used to line the ancient walkway, before the ocean rose.

Bronze plaques in front of the coffins tell the tales of heroes long dead. Now overgrown by small white flowers, this place has been long abandoned, and the rumors of ghosts haunting this grave site has kept away would be grave robbers.
