User Summary
Max and the Magic Marker is a 2D platformer for the Wii, PC, and Mac. The player controls Max, a young boy with a marker that can bring drawings to life. At the start of the game, Max draws a monster, Mustacho, but once it animates Mustacho escapes into some other drawings and Max must chase after him to halt his rampage. Levels are combination platform-puzzles, and Max needs to advance across a series of platforms by drawing objects onto the screen that aid his passage. The marker has a limited amount of ink and occasionally Mustacho will appear to drain the pen completely. Max can run, jump, and climb through the levels, and also refill the marker by collected ink bubbles spread through the stages. Max is vulnerable to most enemies and hazards, including rain.
