Meanderings of the Mine Mind

It is the 17th century. You and your companions encounter a silver mine that contains deposits of the richest ore ever seen. But what appear to be shafts carved deep into the bedrock are, in fact, tunnels bored into the fossilized remains of a great ancient spawn of the stars. More specifically, its brain.
