User Summary
Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge is a game in the Mega Man Battle Network series. The title is centered around a new netbattling tournament – the Battle Chip GP. At the surface, it appears to be a competition to name the strongest netbattler, but something sinister lies behind the scenes.
Battle Chip Challenge employs a different combat system than the other Battle Network titles. Combats are 1-vs-1 only, and players set up a Program Deck of 12 Battle Chips. The chips are set in 4 columns, and during combat the system will randomly choose a chip from each column to create a combo attack. Players can defeat their opponents by disabling all their battle chips or knocking out their Navi.
Players can compete against each other using a link cable.
