User Summary
Mega Man Star Force 3 is an action RPG title in the Star Force series. Players control Geo Stelar, a fifth grade student who can transform into Mega Man in order to travel through the wave world – an EM based environment.
Gameplay is based in both the physical and wave worlds. While in the physical world, Geo is able to view the wave world by using his Visualizer. When transformed, Mega Man can travel through the wave world on a series of roads comprised of radio waves. These roads are littered with viruses that will attack randomly.
Battles are fought on a 3D grid, with the camera behind Mega Man. The Mega Buster can always be used to attack, but more powerful attacks require Battle Cards to be equipped. Star Force 3 introduces the Noise feature – Mega Man increases his Noise percentage by defeating enemies, and as the percentage increases, more abilities are unlocked.
Star Force 3 was released in two versions – Black Ace and Red Joker. Gameplay is identical in both flavours, but certain transformations and Battle Cards are unique to a single version.
