Melding Snow is a captivating trick-taking game centered around the fun of building snowmen. In this climbing-style game, players aim to "roll up" melds of cards over four rounds, striving to win tricks that earn points while quickly shedding their cards.
When a player goes out, they can choose a bonus card to enhance their strategy, which may be applied immediately, in the next round, or at game end.
At the end of each hand, players score their points by writing them in one of four spots on their snowman: the head, upper body, lower body, or the snow-covered ground. Points are tallied at the end of the game, and players can earn extra points by predicting their scores in sequential order, just like building a snowman, smallest on top to largest on the snow-covered ground.
After four rounds, the player with the highest total points emerges victorious!
